Weekly Inspiration #14
Hey! The weeks are rolling by and no14 is here already, where is the year going?!? Anyway down to business, this weeks awesome sites:
1. Hugs for Monsters grabs you straight away with it’s great illustration and heavy texture. I love Joe’s visual style and the font used in the nav and title is perfect:
2. If you don’t know the name Mike Kus, you should do. He’s a designer at Carsonified and has come up with so many great site designs. His portfolio is awesome:
3. The Squad are an Australian based agency with a different approach for their homepage. The minimal palette of grey’s and green’s coupled with the cartoon effect imagery of the team is a eye-catching and suites the brand:
4. Another great site featuring some awesome illustration at no4. Denise Chandler’s portfolio site uses illustration through out and some nice text and form styling:
5. Last up this week is a site which I’ve been meaning to feature before. Super Eight Studio is the making of designer/developer/illustrator buddy of mine Matt Hamm and designer/developer Pete Orme. Their site is the perfect example of simple and clean with perfect font styling thrown in. They have an awesome portfolio to boot:
