Good Monday to you all. Week 4 has some awesome sites. Lets go…
1. Brian Hoff’s blog/portfolio/notes/digital playground etc has had a few re-designs over the last few years but this latest one looks great. Nice layout, sweet colours and, as usual, the typography is perfectly suited:
2. Next up is DW, the portfolio for Dan Wiersema. Good looking background and un-conventional left vertical nav:
3. Creature is a freelance design studio boasting a very clean layout and impressive client list:
*One teeny weeny suggestion - get a favicon*
4. Aarts is another portfolio site, this time for designer and entrepreneur Jasper Aarts. I really like the dark grungy feel and the smooth scrolling content slider fits well:
5. Last up this week is Promotional Codes. A new (re-designed) site by Super Eight Studio. If you’ve followed this snippets on Dribbble then you’ll agree it turned out better than expected. The footer is awesome:
That’s it for another week. Remember if you want your site featured or you want to shout about a great looking site then get the link in to me.
Hey peeps, my fav inspirationals for week 3:
1. Stick with Me Baby is a bright and colourful site where you can purchase stickers to pimp out your Macbook Pro:
2. Next up is Thomas Bishop’s portfolio. Nice and clean with nice custom font usage:
3. Giant Media uses some nice illustration at each section of this long vertical scrolling site:
4. If you need a simple and fast tool for generating quotes then this new service might be just the ticket. Quoterobot is easy to use and looks nice:
5. Lastly this week is Monstersuite. I love the watercolour style backgrounds and use of texture. The typography looks neat also:
I hope you’re enjoying these weekly sites as a source for inspiration? If you want your site featured or know of a great looking site then fire me the link and I’ll take a look. Until next week, stay cool…
Week no2 kicks off with a sweet design from You’re the Youth. Enjoy…
1. You’re the Youth is a politcal site aimed at young folk and potential first time voters:
2. Next is a great looking portfolio site from Christian Swinnen. Nice textures:
3. Arrested Development is a US comedy series starring Jason Bateman. The site uses some cool illustrations and, if you watch the show, some funny quotes:
4. Coffeetopia up next. Nice layout, nice colours, nice little site:
5. Lastly this week is Launchlist. This has gained a lot of popularity in the last week for good reason; it’s a sweet looking site that’s also a great product. This one would suit an iPhone app perfectly:
Thanks for checking out week 2. What was your fav site?
